Herb Onion Grill Bread

| 1 | each | yeast, package, active dry | |
| 1 1/4 | cup | water, lukewarm | |
| 1 1/2 | cup | flour, whole wheat or brown rice | |
| 1 | each | scallions, bunch | |
| 1 | tablespoon | rosemary, fresh, chopped | |
| 1 | tablespoon | thyme, fresh, chopped | |
| 1 | tablespoon | sage, fresh, chopped | |
| 1 | tablespoon | oil, olive | |
| 2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 2 | cup | flour, unbleached | |
| 1 | cooking spray | ||
| Directions: | |||
| In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in water and let stand until it bubbles, about 10 minutes. Slowly stir in whole wheat flour, scallions, rosemary, thyme, and sage. Mix well, cover, and set aside to rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes. Stir in olive oil, salt, and 1 1/2 cups white flour to form a stiff dough. Preheat grill to medium-hot. Makes 6 breads. |
