1 c Dry red wine
1 c Water
3/4 c Sugar
1 Cinnamon stick
2 Whole cloves
2 sl Lemon

6 Tart apples, chopped
1 c Currants
1 c Raisins
3 ts Ground cinnamon
1 ts Ground cloves
1/2 ts Allspice
1/2 ts Ground ginger
1/4 c Vinegar
1 tb Grated orange peel
1/2 c Unsweetened orange juice
